The Society of Professional Journalists Region 2 conference has come to a close. Thank you to all who attended and participated. We hope you had an enjoyable and educational experience.

Join your fellow ink-stained wretches and muckrakers at the Society of Professional Journalists Region 2 conference in beautiful Elon, N.C., March 30-31.  The conference, hosted by Elon University, will include professionals from all journalism fields, experts from academia and panels for our professional attendees. The Mark of Excellence awards will be announced while attendees enjoy some North Carolina barbecue (don’t worry we’ll have some vegetarian options, too). And Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and Boy on the Bus WALTER MEARS will deliver the keynote address.
